The 2500 employees and 25000 students of the Albeda College use an internally hosted i-Engine platform for the public websites, extranets, intranets and e-learningenvironments. Over 100 editors co-operate in website content management. Students access the extranet for their timetables and grades. Various departments collaborate with partner organizations through custom workflow applications.
The Albeda College is a large comprehensive school for intermediate vocational education (“MBO”) and adult education in Rotterdam. Here, approximately 25,000 students follow an education under the supervision of approximately 2,400 employees. The Albeda College attends to vocational education in the area of Healthcare, Welfare, Service Provisioning, Food, Technology and Economics and offers the students over 350 educations and qualification possibilities on 50 locations. In addition to vocational education the Albeda College also attends to education in the area of integration and reintegration.
